Promise Ultratrak SX8000 8-Drive Bay
SCSI-To-ATA RAID External Subsystem

Promise Ultratrak SX8000 8-Drive Bay SCSI-To-ATA RAID External Subsystem--The SX8000
is the stand-alone tower siblings to the rack-mount versions.
The chassis is designed to stand next to a
workstation or small server. Choose the SX line when
workstation or server storage needs require higher capacity
or flexibility than internal RAID can deliver. These powerhouses allow IT
professionals to build huge capacities with up to eight Ultra ATA drives for
maximum versatility and economy. Hot swappable disk, Fans, PSU; 48-bit Large LBA
recognizes drives exceeding 137GB each.

- SCSI Interface: Ultra160 SCSI (host
adapter required), maximum transfer rate 160MB/s
-
Drive Mode: UDMA 5
(UATA 100)
- Large LBA Support: 48-bit Large LBA
recognizes drives exceeding 137GB each
-
